Welcome
Support Bravehearts by

expressing concern about the ongoing sexual assault of children and the failure of Federal, State and Territory governments to recognise and ensure that child protection is a national priority.

THE PAUL NEWMAN'S OWN FOUNDATION is donating funds for the production of Ditto's first album.
The foundation, which has donated millions to Australian charities, has selected Bravehearts to be among 26 charities to receive a share of $1 million. The funds will go towards producing a CD of personal safety songs from our widely acclaimed Ditto Keep Safe Adventure school-based live show.

BRAVEHEARTS aims to forge a ‘movement for change’ in how paedophilia is dealt with by the criminal justice sector, government and the community at large and to provide survivors with a voice. Advocating for both healing and preventative strategies, Bravehearts provides comprehensive counselling for children and young people who have experienced, or who are risk of, child sexual assault; advocacy and support for adult survivors; and is actively involved in education, prevention, early intervention and research programs (see 'About Us' for more information on Bravehearts' programs).

HELP US COMPLETE OUR NEW HQ

For a long time, Bravehearts has been excited about the completion of our new Gold Coast headquarters. The new building will provide much-needed office space for our staff and more importantly, enable us to provide much-needed services such as counselling, workshops and therapeutic services to the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Along with these services, this building will serve as our national headquarters from which all administration for our other branches will be conducted.

At present, many of our staff are crammed into tiny work areas at our Springwood office and whilst they are all being very patient, this cramped work environment is not conducive to optimum productivity and efficiency.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of many businesses ranging from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and surrounds, who have donated their time, expertise and resources. The building is so close to completion and looking great and wouldn’t have been possible without your amazing generosity. You should all be so proud that you have been instrumental in working towards protecting our most innocent and vulnerable members of society – our children.

Unfortunately, due to unforseen problems with our stormwater connections, site works have been delayed significantly. As a result, some of the tradespeople and companies that were waiting to help out have since been forced to move onto paid work.

We also have some other outstanding items required for us to make the move successful and begin our operations in the most effective way possible.

Please click here to peruse our list of requirements and, if you think you can help, please give us a call on 07) 3290 4474.

Help us help your children. Bravehearts' aim is to make Australia the safest place to raise a child… You can join us in this mission.
